    Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulla Bin Mohammed Al Thani

    Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer and Chief Executive Officer of Ooredoo Qatar

    Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulla Al Thani is Ooredoo's Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer and Chief Executive Officer of Ooredoo Qatar since March 2020.

    He has over 16 years of experience in communications, digital transformation, finance and accounting, and has held various management positions within Ooredoo since he joined the company in 2009.  Having a deep understanding of the operational and strategic perspectives of the contemporary telecom business amid its shift to digital, he has successfully redirected and reshaped the customer base, profitability, cost management and organisation across several Ooredoo operations in multiple markets.

    Most recently, Sheikh Mohammed was Chief Executive Officer of Ooredoo Kuwait, leading the company to reach key milestones including being the first to launch 5G commercially in Kuwait, the first in the region to deliver a 5G video call and the first operator in the country to provide a fully customisable digital mobile plan. He was behind the establishment of Ooredoo Kuwait's Data Centre and led the acquisition of FastTelco, placing the company as market leader and first in Kuwait to offer fixed-mobile convergence. He has also managed "Phono", Ooredoo Kuwait's sister company, substantially increasing market share in the distribution of recharge and pre-paid sales.

    Sheikh Mohammed is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ooredoo Kuwait, President Commissioner of Indosat Ooredoo.

    Previously, he was Ooredoo Qatar's Finance Director, where he led the Finance BU and the company's 3-year Strategic Business Plan and Annual Operating Plan.

    He holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Cardiff, UK and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Qatar University.

    Najib Khan

    Chief Executive Officer - Ooredoo Maldives

    Najib Khan was named as the CEO of Ooredoo Maldives on 4 April 2017. Previously, he served as the head of Business Services at Ooredoo Group, based in Doha, where he had responsibility for developing Ooredoo’s B2B offering on a regional and global scale.

    A telecommunication professional with more than 25 years of experience, he has held senior roles at Bharti Airtel, including CEO of the Homes & Offices business and Chief Marketing Officer for Business-to-Business.

    He is an Engineer with a Post Graduate degree in Business Management from NMIMS in India and in Industrial Electronics Engineering from Mumbai University, India.

    Ahmad Abulaziz Al Neama

    Chief Executive Officer - Indosat Ooredoo

    Ahmad Al Neama was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Indosat Ooredoo in May 2019.

    Most recently, Al Neama was Group Chief Technology Officer for Ooredoo from July 2017 until May 2019.

    Through his board duties and the senior positions he has held in Ooredoo Qatar, Ahmad has developed extensive experience in telecoms and network engineering, as well as B2C and B2B/ICT sales and operations.

    He was previously Chief Sales and Services Officer at Ooredoo Qatar and continues in his roles on the Board of Directors for Indosat Ooredoo and Ooredoo Oman.

    Ahmad joined Ooredoo Qatar in 2004 and served in a number of roles, including Director of Demand and Project Management, and Senior Director of Radio Networks.

    Ahmad holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado at Denver and has completed a range of educational and training programmes, including an HEC Leadership Training programme and courses in Digital Signal Processing, Advanced Electromagnetic Fields Control Systems Analysis and others.

    Durgham Maraee

    Chief Executive Officer - Wataniya Palestine

    Dr. Durgham Maraee, formerly the Chief Investment Officer of the Palestine Investment Fund(PIF), has been named as CEO of Wataniya Palestine, after accepting the resignation of the previous CEO Mr. Fayez Husseini.

    As CIO of the PIF, Dr. Maraee held a senior role at Palestine’s largest institutional investor with more than US$800 million worth of assets under management. Earlier in his career, he worked as a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group. Dr. Maraee holds a Doctorate degree in International Law from Harvard University.

    Mansoor Rashid Al-Khater

    Chief Executive Officer - Ooredoo Tunisia

    Mansoor Rashid Al-Khater was appointed CEO at Ooredoo Tunisia in November 2019.

    Mansoor joined Ooredoo in 2009 and has held several senior roles, the most recent being Group Chief Strategy Officer for Ooredoo Group.

    As the Group Chief Strategy Officer, Mansoor was responsible for driving the Group Strategy development, cascading the Strategic direction to the Group and OpCos and ensuring delivery and execution of the Group’s Strategy.

    Prior to this, Mansoor held the position of Chief Strategy Officer at Ooredoo Qatar, where he contributed towards the division’s Strategic Business Plan on an annual basis, facilitated corporate performance reviews and interacted with key stakeholders to enhance operational performance.

    Mansoor has more than 20 years’ engineering and business experience, including an 11-year career at Qatar Petroleum.

    Additionally, Mansoor serves on the Board of Asiacell, Iraq (an Ooredoo Group member). He is former Board Member of Arabsat, Al Jazeera Network and an ex-member of Qatar Museums Authority Board of Trustees.

    In addition to attending a number of professional and industry training programmes in Qatar and abroad, Mansoor holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Qatar University, an M.B.A from Hull University and a Masters degree in Emergency & Disaster Management from Georgetown University.

    Amer Al Sunna

    Chief Executive Officer - Asiacell

    Amer Al Sunna, Chief Executive Officer of Asiacell Iraq, previously held the position of Managing Director within the organization since February 2013. He brings 20 years’ experience to his role, garnered in a range of senior executive positions at high-profile organisations around the world.

    Amer initially joined the Ooredoo family as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of wi-tribe Jordan in August 2010, followed by a role as Chief Operating Advisor (COA) for wi-tribe Philippines in August 2011.

    Prior to his roles at wi-tribe, Amer was CEO of three specialised telecommunications and internet service companies owned by VTEL Holdings, in the Commonwealth of Independent States, working in Ukraine, Armenia and Georgia.

    He has also been Group Chief Operations Officer (COO) at Orange Jordan.   Amer remains dedicated to improving customer experience in the communications industry. He has played a key role in the growth of the telecoms sector in his home country of Jordan.

    He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Jordan University.

    Abdulaziz Yacoub Al-Babtain

    Mr. Abdulaziz has over 20 years of professional experience in telecommunications, technology and sales.     Noor Al-Sulaiti

    Chief Executive Officer - Ooredoo Oman

    Noor Al-Sulaiti was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Ooredoo Oman in May 2021.

    She joined Ooredoo in 2004 and was most recently CEO of Starlink, a leading Ooredoo Group retail chain and IT service provider in Qatar. During her time as CEO of Starlink, Noor made a considerable impact on the market by rebranding and expanding the portfolio and capability of the company, enabling it to compete in e-Commerce, retail and ICT.

    Previously, she was the General Manager of Phono and Fasttelco in Kuwait.

    Noor Al-Sulaiti brings a wealth of experience and expertise gained over 17 years of progressive and rotational roles in the Telecom industry.

    Noor holds a Bachelor degree Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Qatar and a Master's degree in Business Administration – Strategic Management from the University of Plymouth.

    Rajeev Sethi

    Chief Executive Officer - Ooredoo Myanmar

    Mr. Rajeev Sethi was named as CEO of Ooredoo Myanmar in May 2019.

    Rajeev has 25 years of work experience, of which 15 have been in telecommunications with several multinational companies.

    Prior to joining Ooredoo, he was Chief Commercial Officer at Airtel Africa. Previously, he was Chief Operating Officer of Grameenphone, a Telenor Group company. He has held senior positions in Uninor, Vodafone, Hewlett Packard and Hutchison Telecom.

    Rajeev comes with a wealth of experience in telecoms, business development, marketing and customer service and brings significant contribution to Ooredoo Myanmar.

    Rajeev holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management and a B.E. in Electrical Engineering from Gujarat University in India.

    Bassam Yousef Al Ibrahim

    Chief Executive Officer – Ooredoo Algeria

    Bassam Yousef Al Ibrahim was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Ooredoo Algeria in May 2021.

    Most recently, he was Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Ooredoo Algeria from March 2020 to May 2021.

    Bassam has over 20 years of experience in the telecoms industry and he has held a range of senior positions within Ooredoo Group, including Deputy Chief Procurement Officer – Strategic Sourcing.

    He joined the company in 2013 in the IT software department, and gained significant experience at a senior management level, having held several managerial positions in the areas of Telecoms, information technology, project management and procurement.

    Bassam has also served on numerous Boards within the Group, and is a long-standing member of the Board of Ooredoo Palestine and the Chairman of the Audit committee.

    He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Essex, Colchester and an Executive MBA from HEC Paris. He has also attended several training courses at many Ivy league universities around the world.
