In accordance to Article 173 of the Doha Securities Market, notice is hereby given that Qatar Telecom (Qtel) QSC will hold a Board of Directors Meeting on 12 February 2009.

Among the items to be discussed will be Qtel’s capital structure and other recommendations to the upcoming general assembly. The dates for the board meeting to announce 2008 financial results as well as the general assembly will be announced in due course.
