Ooredoo Myanmar’s “Learn Internet to enrich your digital lives” CSR Program started with “Internet 1O1” (Internet One on One) campaign in partnership with Facebook, and GSMA to train mobile users on the advantages of internet usage, the dangers the internet poses and how to use it safely and responsibly.
This campaign started on June 15, 2019 and Internet training is provided at Ooredoo Stores and Retail Shops in Monywa, Shwebo, Sagaing, Magway and Sub-Urban Areas in Mandalay and Yangon. This internet training aims to increase Myanmar Citizens digital literacy knowledge and protect them from fraudulent and unsafe cyber transgressions. Ooredoo will continue Internet training until the end of August 2019.
Everyone who has an Ooredoo SIM is invited to attend “Internet 1O1” training. Ooredoo users that cannot attend in-person, can visit Ooredoo’s website to watch a 4 minute online training video at https://ooredoo.com.mm/portal/en/digitalliteracy.
