Qatar Telecom (Qtel) Q.S.C clarified today that the KD89.4 million (US$325.7 million) to be paid to KIPCO for the Wataniya sale was already accounted for in the previously announced purchase price of $3.72 billion. There will be no further impact on Qtel's income statement as a result of the final payment to KIPCO.
