Board of Directors Membership Nominations

 

 

The Board of Directors of Ooredoo (Q.P.S.C) is pleased to announce the opening of the nomination period for the Board's Membership for a term of three years, starting in 2024 and ending in 2027 in accordance with stipulations of Article (22) of the Company's Articles of Association, and Article (97) of Qatar Commercial Companies Law No. (11) of 2015 and the Qatar Financial Markets Authority Governance Code for Companies & Legal Entities Listed on the Main Market (QFMA Board Decision No. (5) of 2016).

 

The nomination period will be open from Sunday 11 February 2024 and will close on Thursday 15 February 2024.

 

Applicants are invited to download the nomination forms for individuals and Companies from the Ooredoo website www.ooredoo.com. The application and requested documents must be submitted in person at Ooredoo’s headquarters in West Bay, between 8:00 am and 1:00 pm on the dates mentioned above.

 

Remarks:

 

• Applications submitted after the deadline specified above or not meeting the conditions for qualifying for membership of the Board of Directors shall not be considered.
• The eligibility requirements for board membership are available on Ooredoo’s website (www.ooredoo.com).
• Elections will take place during the General Assembly meeting of Ooredoo (Q.P.S.C). The invitation to the General Assembly meeting will be published in a local newspaper, on Qatar Stock Exchange website and on Ooredoo’s website prior to the meeting.
