Doha, Qatar, 14 July 2013: Ooredoo Q.S.C. - Former Ticker: QTEL.QA announces that with immediate effect the ticker has changed to “ORDS”. The company will trade as “ORDS” on the Qatar Exchange (QE), the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), and the London Stock Exchange (LSE).  

The ticker symbol “ORDS” is an abbreviation of Ooreedo Q.S.C which is used to uniquely identify the company’s publicly traded shares in the stock markets.

The change in the Company’s legal name from Qatar Telecom (Qtel) Q.S.C. to Ooredoo Q.S.C was announced 25 June 2013.
