The Board of Directors for Qatar Telecom (Qtel) approved the interim semi-annual financial results for the period ending June 30, 2011.  The financial statements revealed a net profit of QR 1,436 million in comparison to QR 1,784 million for the corresponding period in 2010.

The Earnings per Share (EPS) amounted to QR 8.16 as of June 30, 2011 versus QR 10.14 of the same period in 2010.
