Qatar Telecom (Qtel) disclosed the interim financial results for the three month period ended March 31, 2009.  The financial statements revealed a net profit of QR 604.4 Million in comparison to QR 525.4 Million for the corresponding period in 2008.

The Earnings per Share (EPS) amounted to QR 4.12 as of March 31, 2009 versus QR 4.59 of the same period in 2008.
