Qatar Telecom (Qtel) Q.S.C. (“Qtel”) announces its plan to conduct a tender offer (“Tender Offer”), to acquire all of the outstanding Series B Common Shares (including the Series B Shares represented by American Depositary Shares (“ADSs”)) of PT Indosat Tbk, a publicly listed limited liability company established under the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.

The Tender Offer follows Qtel’s acquisition of 40.8% of the outstanding shares in PT Indosat Tbk from Asia Mobile Holding Pte. Ltd. (“AMH”), pursuant to an agreement dated June 6, 2008.

Qtel is required by the Indonesian Capital Market and Financial Institution Supervisory Board (“Bapepam-LK”) to conduct the Tender Offer.
