The Group's ESS transformation programme called OneOoredoo must therefore ensure the successful delivery of the transformation in context of:
• Alignment of the Program objectives with the overall Ooredoo strategy
• Rapidly changing ICT environment
• Management of executive and shareholder expectations across the OpCos throughout the transformation
• Management of employee, customer and supplier expectations
• Constant dynamics and local challenges in the economic, regulatory and legal environments
This position will work with the Ooredoo Group Leadership Team, the Opco CEOs and direct reports and will be accountable for the successful delivery of OneOoredoo Program by managing the Program Support Office. The program aims to implement a unified way of working across Finance, Sourcing and Human Resources with clear roles and responsibilities that eliminates redundancy and promotes efficiency. This will ensure a coordinated approach throughout Ooredoo, enabling Ooredoo operations to execute their mandates effectively.
Strong understanding of SAP ERP modules on cloud, ability to translate business requirements into effective solutions.
Capacity to lead the design, implementation of SAP solutions for the organization.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand their business requirements, perform detailed analysis of requirements while providing solutions.
Ability to document the process and functional/technical specifications.
Ensure SAP system scalability, security and aligned with the organizations strategic objectives.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the SAP system.
Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.
Provide guidance and support to the development team in the implementation of SAP solutions.
Develop & maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in SAP solution architecture.
Guide the engineering team to develop, configure and implement the solution as per the product development standards to meet business requirements.
Monitor the work of the technical team and ensure standards are adhered to in accordance with SAP's Solution extensions.
Work with and advise the QA team on the design of test plans, test cases and on automation.
Participate in product roadmap and product strategy definition.
Help and review with the creation of training, product, and solution documentation.
Coordinate with other technical teams to ensure compatibility with other 3rd party components that interface with SAP ERP.
Hold self and others accountable to the committed deadlines and ensure successful deliverables.
Performing and maintaining integration architecture and infrastructure design activities
Participating in resolving technology integration problems
Ensure customer satisfaction through quality work and effective communication throughout projects.
10+ years of work experience over all
6 years of experience in SAP product consulting, systems integration, or architect role.
3 years of working in transformation projects
3 years of working for a Telco
Hard skills requirements:
Have a good understanding of SAP best practices.
Must have excellent expertise in ABAP development with very good understanding of SAP modules such as Finance, HR and S2S.
Development experience - ABAP, CPI, Fiori, SAC, BTP and other SAP specific technologies. Also, Web Services, Rest APIs and other communication channels with non-SAP (3rd party) applications.
Demonstrated knowledge of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) based design & development and ABAP Restful Programming Model
Should have proven track record of creating POC and providing solution demos and presentations to business stakeholders.
Must have good experience with SAP security concepts.
Exposure to compliance regulations like GDPR, IFRS, etc. will be a value add.
SAP ERP certifications will be considered as value add.
Soft skills requirements:
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. French & Arabic will be considered a value add.

Ability to assess and manage/notify technical risks and issues to management.
Proven record working with a fast-paced delivery environment.
Excellent stakeholder management including executives and C-suites.
BS Degree in computer science or engineering or higher.
