Ooredoo Group is a ~9bn USD business, comprised of a portfolio of more than 10 telecom investments (OpCos). The value of Ooredoo Group increases when we increase the value of each of the individual Ooredoo Group companies in the portfolio. Ooredoo Group’s B2B (Enterprise) function is critical in providing the right Usage based products to enable the monetization the sales / account management teams. The role will develop to support clear P&L performance management of the B2B segments.


The core purpose of this role is Product Management in the delivery of the commercial plan for all B2B segments for Ooredoo Group. This role is responsible for executing the strategy of product management for B2B (Enterprise) for Ooredoo Group, with focus on alignment and integration of the B2B Solutions for Ooredoo Group/OpCos, leveraging its scale and reach. 

Role Profile

  • Sets vision and strategic direction for OG B2B solutions propositions and drive execution.
  • Gather requirements from global trends, OpCos driving ongoing prioritization of product investments.
  • Monitor global and regional commercial trends: capture and share business marketing best practices
  • Build a preference for Ooredoo B2B solutions in all operating markets.
  • Drives the development of and oversee the management of portfolio.
  • Develops and implements a B2B solution roadmap strategy that will enable Ooredoo Group to achieve its growth ambition.
  • Partnership with global ICT services providers. Leveraging relationships and taking their products to the market across the footprint.
  • Guide OpCos on B2B solutions portfolio expansion across the Group in line with Group and OpCo Strategy.
  • Develops guidelines about pricing modelling, and implementing best practice pricing propositions across OpCos
  • Support the OpCos with GTM and standardization activities.
  • Providing strategic direction, solutions prioritization, and tactical execution, while working closely with OpCos.
  • Finalize and get agreement from OpCos on the annual operating business plan.
  • Get consensus of the strategy from the operating companies. Agree OpCos strategic and operating marketing plans, based on market potential, and target market share.
  • Get buy-in of the Product & Marketing Strategy from Group Management and cross-functional teams.
  • Provide commercial direction for OG technology roadmap to ensure technology supports B2B and commercial objectives.
  • Track and monitor performance.
  • Define KPIs to monitor progress and measure performance and agree on bridge plans to drive growth.


Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge

  • Minimum 15 years of experience required within an International Department of a major telecommunication company
  • Direct operational experience in P&L management of B2B Enterprise Business.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Business Degree or equivalent.
  • Advanced degrees (Master’s or MBA) would be an advantage
